Description

18 carat gold
With its own foundry, Rolex boasts the unique technology of casting the highest quality 18 carat gold alloys. Depending on the amount of silver, copper, platinum and palladium, yellow, pink, white and various types of 18 ct gold can be produced. The very high purity metals that are the raw material for these alloys are tested in our own laboratory equipped with the most modern equipment. The gold alloy is then produced and molded with the same care. Rolex's insatiable quest for watchmaking extends to gold. The other hand of the sliding hand in the center

of the black dial
can measure up to 1/8 of a second, and two counters on the dial measure hours and minutes and show the elapsed time. These features allow the driver to know the exact time of the race and decide on the strategy of winning.

Oyster bracelets
Cutting-edge, advanced technology is used to design, develop, manufacture and rigorously test Rolex bracelets and clasps. As with all watch parts, an inspection of the human eye guarantees perfect beauty. The Oyster bracelet is the perfect combination of shape and function. First introduced in the late 1930s, it is an extremely durable and perfect metal bracelet, the most popular bracelet in the Oyster collection, consisting of wide, flat, three-row links.

4130 movement
The Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with the caliber 4130, a mechanical, self-winding chronograph movement developed and manufactured by Rolex. The design of this movement has significantly fewer parts than a standard chronograph, which improves the reliability of the movement. Like all Rolex eternal movements, the caliber 4130 is chronometer-certified, only given to high-precision watches that have passed the Swiss Official Chronometer Inspection Association (COSC) test. The chronograph mechanism uses parachromic hair springs, which are very resistant to shock and temperature changes.

Start, drive and stop functions
Daytona chronographs are screwed in like a crown when not in use and are powered by a pusher that is water resistant to 100 meters. When you press start, stop or reset the chronograph function, you will hear a sharp clicking sound that has reached the completion stage thanks to the latest technology. Rolex watchmakers also have the best technology in the movement to give the best possible finger feel when pressing a button, and to start measuring immediately and accurately without affecting the accuracy of the watch.
